Ohhhhhhhhh yes! Today is what I like to call maximum Happy Friday. I am soooooo off!
Rachel and I took a day off for her birthday tomorrow. Not sure what we’re going to do, but it definitely won’t be going to work!
So, ok; last week was a weird week for the blog—it happens. For some reason all of the links were black. They were there, just black. If you missed them check it out again! There was some cool stuff in there. I did notice the issue, but I’m always happy when I get a special note from my old buddy Alli!
I also got a verbal poke from, Kurt. Apparently, I had some grammatical errors in the blog. It doesn’t happen often, but it happens. So now he wants to be my proofreader. That’s pretty funny. Thanks for the offer.
I found this video of a TV host who proposed to his TV host girlfriend on air. I feel upstaged. That’s a pretty cool proposal!
I spent most of Saturday with my family at my aunt’s house. That was fun and interestingly enough my cousin and I didn’t argue like we usually do. That’s usually the best part. Maybe next time!

Anyway, I’ve been talking to Jane of JWI Events pretty much every day to help her prepare for a few big meetings she is working on. If you don’t know Jane she is THE BEST. Her humor is the great. I so enjoy her stories.
I had a conversation with Joe J. about football and he had me cracking up with his football stats. He loves his QB over mine. Even though the numbers say one thing he’s always got a funny come back to justify his stance.
So how about this video? Little Omar is walking! That’s pretty cool. It’s just too bad I wasn’t there. If you listen to the video closely you’ll hear an Obama ad in the background. That’s too funny.
On Tuesday several people, including Ryan C.F., Kelly F. and others, continued to voice their disgust for my sports teams. It still amazes me that you can’t be a fan of one team without hating another. You Yankee and Cowboy haters should be ashamed!
After a long day at work, Joe J. pulled out his acoustic guitar and played a few popular hits! That was pretty exciting!
Oh yeah, by the way, it was also Jane’s birthday!
Wednesday I was awakened with an e-mail from Adrian about tropical storm Omar! Tropical storm OMAR!
For those of you who’ve been asking, IFinallyDidIt was updated.
In case you didn’t hear me before, there is a little hurricane named Omar. And to keep up that theme the quote of the week goes to Chris M. who said, “Thanks Omar. And by the way, stop attacking Puerto Rico! :)” That was pretty funny.
By Thursday, I (Omar) was updated to a category 3 hurricane. Thanks for the update, Christie.
I guess my sweater and tie was a bit too preppy because Bill asked me if I was on my way to a young republicans meeting. That was funny.
Speaking of republicans; this guy is a nut! He named his daughter Sarah McCain Palin. That was his contribution to the campaign in lieu of a donation that he couldn’t afford.

We rounded out our day with a bit of a celebration for boss’s day for Jerry. Drinks, food and quoits; just what I needed!
