My Happy Friday

Ah ha, Friday—and I tell you I’m happy it’s here. Now I’m not one for forecasting my week, but this week is a bit different. The weekend looks like it’s going to be crazy. I think you all heard my cries about my horrible summer and as a result we have my weekend! Tomorrow I am going to the beach with Rachel. It’s been a few years since I hit the beach so I’m thinking that should be a blast. My buddy Kelly called me up randomly on Wednesday talking about his new job and said he had some tickets for me. He gave me tickets to the Police—center floor baby! Thanks, Reag—you the man.

On Friday I realized I created a monster. Well not a monster, but I made Elaine funnier. This post apparently inspired her. She now uses the word crunk more than Lil’ Jon. Later I got an e-mail from Paula T. that said the following: I need the teacher’s direction (yes you! – you know you are the best!!!)… I only mention it because I thought it was cool. I’ve been called many things, but this is the first for the teacher thing. J Later that night I talked to Amber at 9:24 p.m. (please, just go with it). I spent that rest of the weekend playing Excite Truck on my Wii. So as I played I realized that I made a mistake in last week’s post. Turns out I purchased two bottles of 12 year reserve that Bacardi makes in Puerto Rico and they were the most expensive bottle of alcohol that I have ever purchased.

I also had another great idea on Saturday, Happy Friday Profiles. Basically, it’s a listing of everyone ever mentioned in my blog. Thought it was a great idea until I had to populate it. It’s done, but I’ll definitely be updating it often. If it’s mentioned today it should be added by Monday. I also talked to my ex-girlfriend Tima and I found out another person I know is pregnant. My other little sister Mira is pregnant-wow. I have no clue what you people are drinking/eating, but too many of you are pregnant. Since our birth rate is 30% lower than the rest of the world, I just don’t get it!

So Monday, my buddy Cleo let me know she was still alive after going to Great Adventure. Apparently, she hadn’t heard about this or this. I’ll stick with sky diving. Tuesday I talked to an old friend, Sarah K., and found out that she had a new job and just got engaged—nice. Later that night I deleted my blog like an idiot. Trying to work on a bunch of webstuff and I screwed it up. I spent that night and the next redoing it from scratch. On Wednesday, Martinique closed on her first piece of real estate—congrats!

That’s about it folks. Find a few random things I didn’t have space for below. Remember that on a day like today, Friday, your only worry should be making it to end of the work day. The critical part of this strategy is to visualize a freezer frosted glass and the ice cold Corona liquid that fills it waiting for you at the Friday’s bar. Random notes:
