Ladies and gentleman, what we have here is a failure to communicate. No really we do. I forgot to mention a bunch of stuff last week so let’s start with that!
First thing I forgot was to mention Rachel’s birthday a few Saturday’s ago. She was out getting a makeover while I sat around watching TV. She came back blonde and Joe J. is right, I think I like blondes better!
Anyway, we went to dinner at Big Fish with her mother after Rachel opened the 25 gifts for her 25th birthday her mother gave her. We had a blast at dinner.
Another thing I didn’t mention was when I came into work one morning and saw big sunglasses, a Bluetooth headset and coffee on the counter! I knew Andrea was close. I look up and BOO! She scared the bahjesus out of me! I liked that Andrea! I owe you one.
For you Halloween fans, the queen of Halloween, Christie, found this pumpkin simulator. If you liked the bubble wrap, you’ll like this.
If you happen to have some cash sitting around collecting dust under your mattress or in a low interest rate account, you might want to check out Dollar Savings Direct. They have a 4.0% APY, which is insane right now. They are a division of Emigrant Bank and are FDIC insured. Check it out!
Ok; that’s the worthwhile stuff I forgot. If you are into technology at all, you have to check this out. Thanks to Kurt and Christie for that one.
If you’re into cool tricks and possibly soccer like I am you’ll love this! Those girls are talented!
In the office we’ve been debating whether this video is real or not, but either way it’s probably the funniest thing I’ve seen this week.
While I was watching football on Sunday I saw the weirdest/funniest commercial ever. Can someone tell me how they convinced A-Rod to do this in his boxer briefs? I know the obvious answer, but wow. Pat, Kobe’s in it! And speaking of Kobe, I picked up Kobe on my fantasy basketball team! I smell victory!
Since a bunch of us are getting married, just got married, are married or are just divorced I think this is an intriguing story for us. What’s more amazing to you, the fact that he lost more than 500 pounds or that they took him to the reception on a flat bed truck?
Tuesday I realized that Rachel won our NFL pool! How cool is that? It turns out Amber won a pool at her job too for the World Series.
Speaking of the World Series; all of the Phillies fans are coming out of the wood work since they won. I respect it, but here’s my thing: if you’re going to wear a jersey, t-shirt, hat or put a magnet on your car after they win a title you really should do it every other day too. I’m thinking that makes you a front runner even if you are a fan. LOL.
Anyway, CONGRATS, Kurt. There, I said it! And I mean it.
So I got this link early on Wednesday from the Chuckster! If this Presidential race hasn’t already been sensationalized, it is now!
I have to leave you with a funny Dilbert. I love it because I like to use that “sexy” word—it’s so appropriate.
A special hello to Rosa, the inventor of Happy Friday, Happy Monday (only a few more days until Friday) and oh my god, Happy Thursday (tomorrow is Friday!).
