My Happy Friday

You made some calls on his “behind” this weekend? Is that how to win influence in political circles nowadays? I heard NJ politics was dirty but damn! That was one of many funny quotes this week. That one happened to be from Brian. I guess when you write something that more than three people read you should be careful about typos. I try, I really do, but I can’t help myself. That one happened to be the funniest one yet so I guess it’s ok.

 

The other funny thing that happened wasn’t really a typo. For some reason a bunch of people misunderstood me likening my week to things like my dog dying and my arm being broke. I guess that’s a good thing because it means you skim instead of read and only a handful of you will scrim the parts with typos. I think that works for me.

 

Over the holiday weekend I took a ride out to Staten Island with a buddy of mine. I guess it’s been awhile since I’ve been there because I don’t recall it looking like that. Maybe it was just the section I was in. Hmmmmm….

 

I’m stiffing (sniffing) and there is this kind of nasty smell. It’s been around since I got home, but I didn’t know what it was. I just figured out it’s the smell of these baseball pants that I pulled out for the first time in almost a year…….Hmmmm……

 

Anyway, when I got back from the Island my brother stopped by and we played Street Fighter 4 for a few hours. As soon as I walked (in) he thought it made sense to start talking junk. Two hours and one lost (loss) later, I think he learned his lesson.

 

On Monday my little sister, Janae, got her permit; now that’s exciting news!

 

Tuesday was Jamil and Jerry’s birthday. I’m not really sure what they did to celebrate, but I hope it was fun.

 

Wednesday I had back to back meetings at Tyco and I saw Shelly for the first time since she got back from vacation. She had that just back from vacation grin on her face!

 

I ended up going back to the office and being called back and when I got to Tyco around six I saw Alex! Haven’t seen that guy in awhile! I had to make the conversation quick because I was talking to “L. Pizzazz” as she likes to be called now. I spent an hour explaining to her hour (how) six months of three converging stories turned into the mess that was last week.

 

I really have to finish this up because these pants, wait it’s not my pants. I actually think it’s my hands. Jeremy and I played catch for a (few) minutes today during a quick break from work then I took a ride to the batting cages to meet a few friends. I cracked open my new bat and I had those disgusting batting gloves on. That’s that smell. Anyway, we broke in my bat and everyone loved it. It’s a “monster.”

It’s time to shower up and get this metal smell off my hands.
