My Happy Friday

Yes! It’s Friday and I think everyone is happy the weekend is here. I’m not sure what it is, but everyone is busy! I’m hoping to spend my weekend digging out from the mess I’ve created over the last few weeks trying to close on this house.

I’d like to thank Andrea for my Friday morning amusement last week. She seems to think that Rachel “… IS preggo[.] See, [I remember] all those stomach bugs a few months back. LIAR!!!” And I respond “Yep. Good job, Sherlock. You guessed it. Be sure to reserve your spot at the baby shower. ;)”

I was surprised by how many people, including Kurt, thought that I should actually make that Jesus signature my sign off. I’ll take a pass on that one.

Sunday was Rachel’s birthday and we spent some time at the house with her mother and then they went out.

On Tuesday we closed on the house. I found it amusing that they tried to tell us that we didn’t have enough money to close two hours before the closing. The smart bank people figured it out and we closed seven minutes before 5 p.m. It took my Babe Ruth Yankee hat and high school t-shirt to get it done. Since I don’t believe in luck, I find it amusing what a terrible transaction could drive me to.

Luckily it’s over and we popped a nice bottle of our favorite white star Moët. Bob, that’s some “good drink” man!

Wednesday we had to eat out so I stopped at this place called Moe’s. I walked in and the guy says, “we’re closed.” I said, “You’re closed?” He said, “No. Welcome to Moe’s.” If you’re looking for some good Mexican food, that’s the place!

Thursday was the renowned Yankee/A Rod hater’s birthday, Jeremy. You’re cool with me bro. This exploding handshake is to you.

Other than that, I’m gone! For those of you who can “stomach” the very funny Tracy Morgan, check out this clip. As Jeremy says, “somebody gonna get pregnant!”
