Amen. Praise the lord, Jesus Christ, your lord and savior! Just kidding, but I’ve been telling Kurt that I wanted to make that my signature. I was looking for something as annoying as his “Phillies 2008 World Champions” or “Please think about the environment before you print this e-mail.”

Anyway, we’re back in the saddle and on track. I’m in the new house and I now have internet. After a battle with Cablevision I finally got this thing rocking and rolling. So we’ve trying to buy this house that we’ve been living in for the past few weeks, but the banks are tight with the money these days. I actually think the bank thinks that I was laundering money because I had “suspicious” withdrawal and deposit patterns. Very interesting.

Maybe I shouldn’t be mad since I lied and told them that Rachel was five months pregnant to push things along, but hey after three weeks I was desperate. For those of you who like to skim we’re registered at Target, Baby’s R Us and ummmm Toys R Us.

So if you are like me, ensuring that people know the correct way to sneeze is important. You should watch this video if you’re unsure. And if you’re worried about the Swine Flu go grab a shot. See that Barb, it’s all about prevention!

I have to once again give it to South Park for bringing back my “bro” Billy Mays. This clip is classic. Watching clips like that will keep you happy enough to work until 100.

Anyway, I’d like to introduce you my new hero King Curtis. At eight, he is wise beyond his years.

And hey, on Wednesday Jane W. turned like 29 or 92 or something like that. Happy Birthday. A few weeks back my little god son Omar turned two. Hey, little man!

If you didn’t know, today is boss’s day so do something nice for your boss.

Until next week……………………..

A special hello to Rosa, the inventor of Happy Friday, Happy Monday (only a few more days until Friday) and oh my god, Happy Thursday (tomorrow is Friday!).

Sep 25

I’ve been spending all of my time filling out paperwork, spackling and losing my mind. Hopefully the next edition will come from the new house. Have a great weekend!

So how about that! Two weeks later and I’m back! It’s not like a vacation back, but just a back, back.

Anyway, how about we start with a happy birthday to the one-year-older folks: Brian, Kayla and Amber.

I think I told you about the time I took my sister bowling for her birthday a few weeks back. Well I cut up the video footage and created this video of it. Marcus’ first time bowling; it’s great.

While you’re at it you can check out Jane’s daughter singing in the rain.

For you shoppers out there, I have two deals for you. First is a friends and family deal from Timberland from Andrea. You can click here and the code is ffsave. That’s 40% off and this is a nice deal for a HP laptop I got in my e-mail.

Hey, Jeremy. Check this out! Don’t you wish you could do that?

So last week I went on a CRAZY photo shoot at Novo Nordisk. I thought it might be a good time, but it turned out to be pretty wild. You can check out the JK Design twitter page for the info and pictures.

Speaking of twitter, our favorite friend Jennifer A. is on twitter now. You should check out her page.

Here’s a funny story: I saw Pat for the first time after her vacation and I gave her a hug. Wait, maybe she gave me a hug. I’m not sure. Either way, I walked away and I smelled like her. Apparently, that’s Intimately Beckham. That stuff smells good, just not on me.

Since football season’s started the front runners are back out in full strength. After the Patriots eeked out a victory and I get the “Don’t hate, Congratulate!!!” message from Jane. It’s going to be a long fall.

Speaking of congrats, congrats to the “Pontiff” Ken. He’s got daughter number two on the way.

I would like to thank Kurt for giving me the formula for a perfect wife. This reading material is appropriate for both men and women. Direct any angry e-mails to Kurt.

That’s it for me. Be sure to check out the cool links below.

Please, would you one time let me be myself!

We started off the weekend on a great note last week. First it was my good friend, Sue O’s, birthday. Happy birthday. Did that package reach you ok?

I spent an hour or so on the train Saturday morning so I could meet my good buddy, Shelly, over at the Yankees game. It didn’t take long for me to get her past her dislike for the Yankees and have her become a huge fan of the stadium.

Of course the Yankees won AND I was able to enjoy a vanilla shake from Johnny Rockets. I felt so good after the game I watched the UFC 102 on pay-per-view with Rachel. The card wasn’t so great, but we did get to see a seven-second knock out.

And yes, it’s football time again! If you want to be a part of our friendly weekly pool, click here.

The other day I tweeted about the new “Blue Card” on my twitter page. Have you seen the commercial for that Chase Sapphire credit card? Doesn’t that woman look like Julia Roberts?

Have you ever YELLED at someone in an e-mail? For those of you who might lack common e-mail sense, it could get you fired.

I spent Tuesday night in New York again at MSG. Amber and I met our friend for a Liberty game. Those seats on the floor are really crazy. There are some cool pictures on the twitter page.

For anyone close to my age, you can understand the excitement I felt when I saw a new Beavis and Butthead clip on YouTube. Unfortunately, it was just a commercial for a movie, but it’s better than nothing. And yes, it’s work safe, but the language is what you’d expect from those dummies.

While I’m not sure where/when this happened, I was told that Andrea watched the shuttle launch. Eh, ok. But I think it’s more important to spotlight the article about her website in the Wall Street Journal.

On Thursday, we spent a few hours in the new @JK_Design office in NY. I’m pretty impressed with it, and you will be too. Pictures to come.

And um, that’s it. More work, more house issues and not enough time.

Don’t forget to check the twitter page for random news and notes from the week.

See ya’!

Hot dog! It’s Friday. Albeit late Friday, it’s still Friday.

What you do you do when you don’t feel like doing something? You don’t do it. I just couldn’t bring myself to write the blog sooner.

How about we start the day off with this great doggie. His “mommie” is looking for a nice home for him. You should check it out if you like dogs.

When I was a kid I wanted one of those motorized cars. Unfortunately, it never happened for me. This kid is lucky enough to have one and look at how he drives it. I bet he parks better than you do!

I was, however, lucky enough to have lunch with Jen A. on Tuesday. Jerry and I went out with her to Old Man Rafferty’s.

I’m happy to hear that the Cowboy’s got the ok to keep their 60 yard LCD where it is. That’s right where I’ll need to be when I get there this season.

I’m happy that I don’t cheat on my wife, and even happier I’m not this guy. Happy because I don’t think I could bring myself to do that. Oh well.

Anyway, busy with work and trying to pick up this house. I’m out of here!

P.S. Get an iPhone and run faster!

A special hello to Rosa, the inventor of Happy Friday, Happy Monday (only a few more days until Friday) and oh my god, Happy Thursday (tomorrow is Friday!).

Aug 21

Phummmmmmmmmm…… Did you see me? Yep, I’m that fast. Not this fast or this fast, but fast.

The other day I received a message from Belize. That’s right, Belize! They’re reading me in Belize. I’m not exactly sure what Mitzi is doing there, but she’s keeping tabs on me. J

For those of you with kids, check out the real spider man. This guy climbs walls like a maniac with no rope. Crazy!

So what do you do if you have no money and no computer, but you want to be an internet star? Make all of your videos at the Apple Store and upload them to YouTube. That kid is going to be successful at something if for no other reason than his resourcefulness.

Saturday was Kim G’s birthday. Happy birthday to you! What are you 25 now?

I spent my Sunday bowling with my little sister Asia and Godson Marcus. We had a great time, but unfortunately they both found out why there is a foul line the hard way. I’m thinking I’ll cut up the video and you’ll see it on YouTube one day soon.

Monday was Rachel’s Grandmother’s birthday, Thursday was my Uncle Thomas’ birthday and also Tim G’s birthday.

That’s it for me. The summer is terrible, thus the weak blog.

I’m Omar Joseph and I’m faster than Andy Roddick.

Aug 14

For the last few weeks I’ve been thinking about how boring my summer has been. I haven’t done much and I’ve been thinking about making my own Smirnoff commercial. Anyone have any ideas we could try?

I spent Sunday at the range with my uncle. We had his full arsenal of weapons and I was able to show of my, as Kurt would say, “mad skills yo!” We did a little shooting from 100 feet with the scope. I was shooting for the eyes and he went for the chest. I brought the targets to work and Bob was impressed. Kurt thought I needed “some work” on my aim.

Have you seen this? Pops sent it over the other day and I thought it was fake, but it looked real good. Turns out it is, but who cares it’s a great video.

I was talking to Tintu and she found out she’s having a girl. Boo for that! She should have waited until it popped out! ;) At least she got this nice tax deduction shirt out of the deal.

Do you remember those random flash dances that I posted before? They created a few in Europe for MJ. These folks are crazy. The second one is in the middle of the street at night.

I was watching CNN and they showed a clip of this Auto-tuned news segment. If you’re not familiar with Auto Tune, just watch the clip. It’s highly entertaining.

For your Barack haters, you might find this clip that Christie gave me funny. I’ve never seen a dog that didn’t like the President so much.

Lynne, I found a marathon you might want to consider. It’s no beer marathon, but it comes with 135 miles of 130 degree heat. And oh yeah, happy anniversary.

I spent the other day adding some folks to my linked in profile. I got my connections over 230. Not over 500 like my CEO friend, Charlie, but I’m trying. Click on it and add me.

Have any of you ever eaten at Bone Fish? A buddy of mine is looking for a review. Help her out and send me an e-mail.

Happy Birthday to the little man Ari, my little sister Asia and Christine!

For those of you who love Family Guy, like I do, you might be interested in this article. The creator outs Stewie as a homosexual.

HAHA! I just went to www.myhappyfriday.net and there is an ad for depression on the sidebar. Is that not ironic?

Aug 06

Wow, it’s one of them slow news weeks, folks. I feel like a boring loser this week. There is just nothing to talk about.

Anyway, did you see that new wedding entrance video where everyone is dancing to Chris Brown? If not, Google JK Wedding Dance. Well, they made a follow up spoof and it’s classic. Hat’s off to the video production company that created.

Did you ever wonder what they do with those cars they get from the Cash for Clunkers program? Being the curious guy I am, I do. This video is a pretty interesting segment from CNN on the process.

I got an e-mail from my photog buddy Scott and he sent me some of his recent work. It’s pretty amazing, check it out.

Now, I may be wrong, but think Sunday was Lynne’s anniversary. I won’t make a big deal out of it because I haven’t received confirmation yet.

Oh, do you know what’s funny? Well, I’ll tell you! I’m slightly amused by the number of women who have popped up pregnant recently. Funny why? Because Rachel’s not! Haha. I know what you thinking, I don’t see her, she could be as big as a house! Well, ask around. There’s about 15 of you who see her every week and I think it’s pretty obviously she’s not—at the very least not a much as a few of you! Ha, I love it!

Are any of you guys watching Shark Week? If you don’t have an HD TV it’s literally “the” reason you should have one. Well not Shark Week, but anything on Discovery.

I spoke to Rob G., one of the original “new Tyco communicators.” I had a “whoa, haven’t heard that name in a while” moment. For those of you who care, he seems like he is doing well.

That’s it for me folks. Sorry for the boring entry.

Jul 31

So yeah, it’s Friday! Now how about that? It’s an exciting day because everyone’s favorite Philly’s fan is back in the office today. Welcome back Kurt, we (I) missed you.

How has your week been? I haven’t really talked to anyone this week so I’m out of the loop. I have been keeping up with the world so I am aware that Shaq was on Monday Night Raw and I did hear that Yahoo and Microsoft are collaborating, plus I am very well aware of the fact that Jon & Kate will be back on the air this Monday—albeit with changes, but what’s up with you?

Rachel and I were at the Liberty game on Sunday and if you didn’t know the seats are crazy! Floor seats are one thing, but actually seating on the floor? We were “Sitting next to the cutest mercury fan. It’s ok she not routing Liberty. She likes the Yankees!” 3:44 PM Jul 26th from Twitterrific She even ha[d] a Yankees tattoo! http://twitpic.com/bqph13:57 PM Jul 26th from Twitterrific (Via @mromarj)

Sunday also was [also] my cousin Amber’s birthday. She had a hilarious story about how she celebrated. We’re going to have to go down to Texas to see her soon.

Tuesday was Patty B’s birthday, Wednesday was Darren’s birthday and also Jon’s Anniversary! Congrats to all of you summer fools! J

When I was a kid, we used to ride bikes, jump curbs and ride through the woods like crazy people. That was pretty cool for us. We thought we were cool, but this kid (via Bill) is the coolest seven-year-old I know. Check him out as he takes cops on a high speed chase. Now don’t get me wrong, it was dangerous, but no one was hurt so now it’s just pretty cool. No?

If you have an iPhone, a cool T-mobile one like me or a boring AT&T one, you should check out this article. It looks like they’re going to release the details about hacking iPhones via SMS at Defcon.

For you folks who want a tattoo, but lack commitment, check out this sun tattoo. That’s a ¾ view of a women’s back for you sensitive/cautious types. ;)

Random link from Bob: Buy a car, get an AK.

Because I love my Netflix subscription, I love this story. It’s the first look inside of a Netflix distribution center I’ve ever seen.

My quote of the week comes from, you guessed it, me. “Had three brilliant ideas @jk_design today. I gave them all to @joejster. But like I told him you can only lead a horse to water……” 7:59 PM Jul 28th from Twitterrific

A bank in New Zealand lost a huge customer, simply because they’re, um, not so sharp. A customer of theirs for 25 years a guy comes in a[nd] asked for a loan that they deny. He’s got money and property, but they say no. He says give me my money, in 20s. As Rachel will tell you, count[ing] $190,000 in 20s is no easy feat. She used to complain about counting $50,000.

That’s it for me. Stay thirsty my friend.

A special hello to Rosa, the inventor of Happy Friday, Happy Monday (only a few more days until Friday) and oh my god, Happy Thursday (tomorrow is Friday!).

Jul 23

So between doing my work, Kurt’s work, three softball games and driving threw a tank of gas in two days I’m “pooped.” I think I’ll make this a Twitter issue.

That makes sense I’ve been going Twitter crazy this week and I got one of my colleagues atwicted—addicted to twitter.

Last week, the topic of interest was that Mike Jack collection I picked up. It was 11 disks of everything Mike ever put out. Everyone wanted to know where I got it, how much it costs and what was on it. Give me an e-mail and maybe I’ll fill you in.

Rachel has a stack of bridal magazines I got her subscriptions to. They’re useless now. Any of you want them? She specifically told me to ask you, Jessica. Let me know.

If you like concerts, free concerts, you’ll remember that I posted free concerts last year. That was courtesy of pops and the ’09 list below is the same. I think Rachel and I will be at the concert on Sunday if we leave the basketball game early enough.
